Delete Your OralDrills Account

This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your OralDrills account and the personal data associated with it.

You can request account deletion either inside the OralDrills App or by email. You do not need to log in to the OralDrills website, and you do not need to reinstall the App, to submit a deletion request by email.

Before You Delete Your Account

Account deletion is permanent. Once your request has been completed:

  • You will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted OralDrills account;
  • Your access to courses, lessons, and subscription benefits through that account may end immediately;
  • Your saved course or lesson progress will be deleted;
  • Your account cannot normally be restored; and
  • Deleted progress and account information cannot normally be recovered.

Method 1: Delete Your Account Inside the App

To request deletion from the OralDrills App:

  1. Open the OralDrills
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Open Account.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Read the deletion warning.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete your account.

When account deletion is initiated inside the App on that device, the App also deletes the OralDrills voice recordings stored locally on that device.

Method 2: Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the App, have already uninstalled it, or prefer to submit the request outside the App, email:

Use the following subject line:

OralDrills Account Deletion Request

In your email, include:

  • The email address registered with your OralDrills account;
  • The mobile phone number registered with your OralDrills account; and
  • A clear statement that you want your OralDrills account and associated personal data deleted.

Where possible, send the request from the email address registered with your OralDrills account. This helps us verify that the request was made by the account owner.

Do not send your password, complete card number, bank-account details, UPI credentials, or Google Play payment credentials by email.

Identity Verification

We may need to verify that the deletion request was made by the account owner. We will request only the information reasonably necessary to protect the account from unauthorized or fraudulent deletion.

Verification is used only to confirm account ownership and will not be used to create unnecessary obstacles.

Information Deleted

After a verified account-deletion request is completed, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize the personal information associated with the OralDrills account, including:

  • Registered email address;
  • Registered mobile phone number;
  • OralDrills user or account ID;
  • Saved course or lesson progress and Continue Learning information;
  • Course enrolment and access information linked to the account, where applicable; and
  • Active session or authentication tokens.

Active session tokens associated with the deleted account will be invalidated.

Information That May Be Retained

Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

  • Fraud or abuse prevention;
  • Account and service security;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Tax or accounting requirements;
  • Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations; or
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.

Any information retained for these purposes will be restricted and kept only for as long as required for that purpose.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in secured backups until they are overwritten or deleted through the normal backup cycle.

Google may retain information relating to Google Play transactions according to Google’s own legal obligations, terms, and retention practices.

Local Voice Recordings

Voice recordings created using “Record Your Voice” are stored only in the App’s private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to OralDrills and cannot be accessed or remotely deleted by us.

  • If you delete your account inside the App on that device, the App also deletes the locally stored OralDrills voice recordings on that device.
  • If you request deletion by email or through the website, we cannot delete recordings stored only on your phone.

If you request deletion by email, delete your local recordings through the App before uninstalling it, if you still have access to the App.

Important: Account Deletion Does Not Cancel Your Google Play Subscription

Deleting your OralDrills account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.

Deleting the App, deleting your OralDrills account, or emailing an account-deletion request does not cancel your Google Play subscription or stop recurring Google Play charges.

To stop future subscription renewals, you must cancel the OralDrills subscription separately through the Google Play account used to make the purchase.

To manage or cancel the subscription:

  1. Open Google Play on your Android device.
  2. Make sure you are signed in to the Google account used to purchase the subscription.
  3. Open Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Select Subscriptions.
  5. Select OralDrills.
  6. Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

We strongly recommend cancelling your Google Play subscription before deleting your OralDrills account.

Processing Your Request

We will begin processing a verified deletion request promptly and complete it without undue delay, subject to any limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, or legal compliance.

Where reasonably possible, we will confirm completion using the email address associated with the request.

No Login Required

This Account Deletion page remains publicly accessible without requiring an OralDrills account or website login.

Users may submit a deletion request by email without signing in to the App or website and without reinstalling the App.
